Karekura Bridge is built by villagers to use when water increases the normal level during the rainy season, this bridge is a beautiful spot to have great pictures with your partner and your friends, it's a small one-way path to Ananka Homestay and River Kaveri.

This place is heaven to live life to the fullest, Set in 7.5 acres of land by the river Kaveri just 12 km from the city center of Mysore, Ananka is an exotic place with coconut trees, cocoa shrubs, as well as mango, chikoo, guava, custard apple, orange, jamun, pomegranate, fig and breadfruit trees.It is just 4 km upstream from the Ranganathitto Bird Sanctuary and 5 km downstream from the KRS dam. This beautiful is 2000 sq ft property is at the end of a small village Karekura 3 km off the bye pass road from Srirangapatnam to Hunsur.

Mysore receives many yoga enthusiasts and this may well be the idyllic retreat. Our cozy house has great views of the river with no traffic in the vicinity. To reach you have to cross a footbridge across a stream. This cottage has a large living area leading to a dining space and functional kitchen and store. There are two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a toilet in the passageway from living area. A staircase leads to a landing and study and terrace, it is a place where you feel relaxed and have fun.

The Kaveri (or Cauvery in English) is a large Indian river. The origin of the river is at Talakaveri, Kodagu in Karnataka, flows generally south and east through Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and across the southern Deccan plateau through the southeastern lowlands, emptying into the Bay of Bengal through two principal mouths in Poompuhar, Tamil Nadu.

It is one of the richest rivers in India by its natural, Water flows from west to east and fills up into the Bay of Bengal.

Couples, Families, Friends hangout to this place and it is a boon to this village as it attracts travelers who are visiting Ranganathitto Bird Sanctuary and KRS dam. This place makes you stay a bit longer as it gives you Calmness to your inner soul.
